Our mission
We're building the infrastructure for automated financial operations — starting with the problem every finance team faces: reconciliation.
Why we built Invunion
Every finance team and accountant knows the headache: matching payments to invoices is slow, manual, and never quite reliable. You export from your bank, export from your accounting tool, and spend hours lining up numbers that should already agree — only to find discrepancies at month-end, or worse, at audit time.
The problem gets harder as you grow. Multiple bank accounts, different business lines, payments arriving from different sources — a card processor here, a wire transfer there, a partial payment on another account. Each adds another layer of complexity. And when one invoice maps to several transactions, or several invoices map to a single payment, most tools simply break down. There is no easy way to handle N-to-N matching at scale.
We built Invunion because we lived this problem. Finance teams deserve a solution that handles every matching scenario — 1-to-1, 1-to-many, many-to-1, and many-to-many — without spreadsheets, without guesswork, and without losing control.
Get reconciliation right, and the benefits extend far beyond the finance department. Customer relationships improve when billing is accurate. Dunning becomes straightforward when you know exactly what is paid and what is not. License activations and access provisioning can run automatically once payment is confirmed. Reconciliation is the foundation — everything else follows.
Our expertise
Invunion is not built by people who discovered reconciliation yesterday. Our team brings years of hands-on experience across the full payment and billing chain — and that domain knowledge is what makes the product work in the real world.
Accounting
We understand how financial records are structured — general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, journal postings, and month-end close. That knowledge shapes how we match: we know how accountants think about balances, why entries split across accounts, and when a discrepancy is a real error versus an expected timing difference.
E-invoicing
Structured e-invoices are not PDFs with a different format. We have deep experience with electronic invoicing standards, compliance frameworks, and the data models that power them. Invunion is built to work with structured invoice data — not just scanned documents — so matching starts from reliable, machine-readable inputs.
Online payments
Card payments, bank transfers, direct debits, payment gateways, settlement delays, processing fees — we know how money actually moves online. That means our reconciliation engine accounts for timing gaps, fee deductions, and multi-step payment flows that generic tools miss.
This is what it brings to the table: a reconciliation platform designed by people who have lived accounting, e-invoicing, and online payments — not one built on assumptions. We know where the data breaks, where the formats differ, and where the matching gets hard. That is the difference between a tool that looks good in a demo and one that works on your actual books.
What we stand for
Accuracy first
Financial data must be correct. We build our AI to be conservative and transparent — surfacing exceptions rather than silently guessing.
Radical transparency
Every match decision is explainable. We show your team exactly why a transaction was matched or flagged, so you always stay in control.
Intuitive by design
Even as headless interfaces and API-first workflows become the norm, finance teams still need clarity. We build dashboards that make reconciliation obvious — so your team knows exactly what is matched, what is not, and what to do next.
Built for growth
We design for companies that are scaling fast — more transactions, more accounts, more complexity — without adding headcount to your finance team.
